The role
Develop a repeatable, technically credible sales motion. Connect with the right teams, understand their constraints, and work with engineering to demonstrate a relevant outcome.
What you’ll do
- Identify and qualify teams with a concrete need for AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Run discovery conversations with engineering leaders, founders, and procurement stakeholders.
- Partner with technical colleagues on demos and scoped evaluations.
- Maintain accurate opportunity notes, next steps, and forecasts.
- Coordinate security, legal, and commercial questions with the appropriate owners.
- Share objections and patterns with the product and marketing teams.
What you bring
- Experience selling B2B software, developer tools, or technically complex services.
- A consultative discovery style and clear written and spoken communication.
- Ability to learn engineering workflows and distinguish a real need from general interest.
- Disciplined pipeline management and reliable follow-through.
- Comfort collaborating with technical colleagues and navigating multi-stakeholder decisions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment without overpromising capabilities.
Nice to have
- Experience selling to engineering, platform, or security organizations.
- Early-stage sales or partnership experience.
- Familiarity with AI tooling and enterprise software evaluations.
Your first priorities
- Build an evidence-based ideal customer profile and qualification approach.
- Develop a focused pipeline with documented customer problems and next steps.
- Improve the discovery and evaluation playbook using real feedback.
Working remotely
This is a remote role. Eligible hiring locations, working hours, collaboration overlap, and engagement terms will be discussed during the hiring process. We value clear writing, reliable follow-through, and making work visible to teammates.
